Kodanuki-bog exits at north side of Tanuki-lake and it is the only bog around Mt.Fuji. There are around 120 large and small ponds and you can see rare plants and life. (1km north from Tanuki-lake)

From Choujyaga-take you can see Tanuki-lake as if it is a miniature and also see a view of Mt.Fuji and Suruga-bay. In the middle of May, between Choujyaga-take and Tenshiga-take you can see Goyou-azalea which is a mark of Princess Aiko.

Jinba falls bear rich water and have simple beauty. Minamotono Yoritomo had a camp around the falls and it was called Jinba falls. (“Jinba” means making a camp) Ensho temple exists nearby, where you can see “drum stone” that is a legend.

Fujisan Hongu Sengentaisha is the head shrine among around 1,300 Sengentaisha shrines in Japan.
Tokugawa Ieyasu donated the inner shrine which was noted as national important cultural properties. At the precincts you can see Wakutama pond where underground water comes from Mt.Fuji.
You can see the weeping cherry tree of Takeda Shingen’s own planting.
Yabusame festival(the art of shooting arrows on horseback) related to Minamotono Yoritomo opens from 4th to 6th May.

This is the oldest wild cherry blossoms in Japan and also noted as national special monument.
In 1193 it is said that Minamotono Yoritomo got off from the horse here when he was hunting
(“geba” means getting off from a horse)
Many people come to see cherry blossoms in full bloom around the middle of April.

Underground water from Mt.Fuji flows between bent lava and flows like white thread with 20m height and 150m width. (“Shiraito” means white thread)
